Stone Links Golf Course, formerly named Quapaw Golf Links is a Public golf course located in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Stone Links Golf Course first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Steve Holden.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7035 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5351 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 567 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 434 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Stone Links Golf Course is # 14, the 165 yard par-3.
The course closed in December 2014.
The course was sold at auction in December 2014. The buyers were brothers Don and Tom Salmon. They purchased the closed golf course while bidding on adjacent farmland. The golf course was a "surprise" add on to their land purchase. They have graciously donated the golf course property to the city of North Little Rock, Ark. It is not yet clear how the land will be used. However, the city has said it will not remain a golf course because of it's anticipated $250,000 a year operating loss.
